Whether you are concerned about your child’s language development or seeking support for reading and spelling, our experienced speech pathologists offer comprehensive assessments, consultations, and therapy to help improve communication and learning outcomes.

Signs Your Child May Need Support
Every child develops at their own pace, but if you notice some of these signs, it might be time to seek support:
• Struggling to recognise letters or sounds
• Difficulty sounding out simple words
• Confusing similar-sounding words (e.g., “top” vs. “pop”)
• Limited vocabulary or frequent grammar errors
•Difficulty following instructions
• Avoiding reading or becoming easily frustrated
If any of these signs sound familiar, we’re here to help.
Our Speech Pathology Services
Assessments
We offer comprehensive assessments to identify your child’s strengths and areas needing support.
These assessments are suitable for children, adolescents, and adults and may explore:
• Understanding and use of spoken language
• Speech sound development (articulation and phonology)
• Phonological processing
• Reading accuracy, spelling, writing, and overall literacy skills
Assessments are tailored to each individual and usually take one or two sessions.
No referral letter is needed to access our support.
Individual Therapy Sessions
Our personalised speech therapy sessions support:
• Speech sound development
• Oral and written language difficulties
• Challenges with reading, spelling, or writing
• Social communication skills
Sessions are structured and personalised, helping individuals develop stronger communication skills over time.
Therapy is engaging, structured, and focused on meaningful progress.
Consultation
If you're unsure whether your child or family member needs an assessment or therapy, a consultation with a speech pathologist can help you understand any concerns and decide if further support is needed.
This is a great first step if you're unsure where to begin

How Speech Pathologists Support Literacy
Because reading is a language-based skill, many children who struggle with speech or language also face challenges with literacy.
Our speech pathologists can:
• Identify early signs of reading difficulties
• Strengthen the building blocks of literacy through targeted intervention
• Use structured, evidence-based programs to support progress
• Help children catch up before learning gaps widen
We focus on developing skills in:
• Phonological awareness
• Phonics and sound-letter knowledge
• Speech sounds
• Vocabulary and oral comprehension
• Spelling and written expression
• Social communication
“Angelik was so calm with our child. We really appreciate everything she has done to build their confidence in regards to literacy. Our child has come home very enthusiastic about their learning from these sessions, which is impressive because overall we don't have much luck with therapy appointments! Thank you Angelik.”
Supporting language and literacy development early gives students the best chance of success.
