Assessments for learning difficulties

If you, or your child or student are having difficulties with literacy or numeracy, or both, you may be interested in a Psychological Assessment to see if there is an underlying learning difficulty, and to receive clear strategies that can be implemented by school, parents and tutors to support their learning.
We offer both online and face to face appointments.
NOTE If you or your child has not had at least six months of targeted literacy and/or numeracy intervention a Psychologist is not able to provide a diagnosis. You may wish to speak with the school about providing appropriate intervention, or you can consider engaging with private tutoring support.
If you are not sure if a Psychological Assessment is right for you or your child, we offer Educational Consults that can include a short screener to help determine if a more formal assessment is warranted and to discuss strategies for support.

Speech Pathology Assessments
Find out exactly where your child is at with their oral language development.
We also offer speech and language assessments to identify your child’s strengths and areas needing support.
Our qualified Speech Pathologists can assess your child's receptive and expressive language skills and provide recommendations and strategies that can be used at home and at school.
This assessment can determine if an individual has a Developmental Language Disorder.
