These innovative resources are fully aligned with the Department for Education Phonics and spelling scope and sequence reception to year 2 v2.
We are dedicated to helping all children engage with decodable books. We have carefully chosen characters, with content and settings that reflect our local South Australian Indigenous communities.
Stories are filled with lovable characters and relatable storylines, such as taking a walk with grandparents, holidays at the beach and helping mum at the shops. We hope your students can find a sense of familiarity and connection with our decodable books on their literacy journey.
The Reception series of 25 books includes foundational spellings beginning with CVC words, progressing to words with adjacent consonants, consonant digraphs, suffix instruction, and common vowel digraph spellings.
A Year 1 Set is scheduled for release in early 2026, and available for pre-order now. The Year 1 set introduces 10 key spellings, covering complex vowel digraphs, additional consonant patterns and morphology, covering units 9 and 10.
