By upper primary school, many children with poor handwriting suffer shame and frustration and avoid writing tasks. This workshop arms parents and educators with the information and resources to teach handwriting confidently and efficiently from Day 1. It provides an overview of two engaging, low cost, and easy-to-implement programs that can be used for classroom teaching or for intervention. It ends with a detailed case study showing how a handwriting intervention program was successfully delivered to a student with complex behavioural challenges.
This workshop is suitable for teachers, SSOs, and parents working with Primary-aged students.
