This workshop provides information about what decodable readers are, and where/how they fit into reading instruction and reading intervention programs. You will have the opportunity to look at and discuss the pros and cons of a range of decodable readers, including free and on-line options. You’ll be guided through factors to consider when selecting decodable readers for your setting, and will take part in some hands on instructional activities that incorporate decodables.
This workshop is suitable for teachers, SSOs, allied health professionals, and parents.
